Sarah och John är mycket trevliga. Hotellet ligger bra, nära till allt, tyst och lugnt. We were also shown the superior rooms, which were beautiful and would pay the extra money to stay in one if we go again. - Sara greeted us with a lovely coffee and biscuit as soon as we arrived. A personable, professional service. The hotel was so clean throughout, you could eat your meal off the floor! Breakfast was great. Our bedroom was beautifully and tastefully decorated. My boyfriend and I went for a romantic, restful weekend and that is what we got. We will definitely go again!

The staff were very friendly , welcoming and always ready to help. The location , set in woods and hills above Lake Windermere , is fantastic. Worth every penny - a fantastic small hotel
It snowed heavily during our stay and the staff even cleared the snow from our car - We stayed in the Bowness suite and it was beautiful, we could not fault a thing at this place, will return soon
