  The PODS were amazing very cosy and warm and very clean And tidy. The showers and toilets are just round the corner and are spotless and very warm. The site is beautiful well kept. The lovely farmshop made an excellent breakfast with 10% off for staying on site. Only s short taxi ride away into york these PODS are so worth the stay. Shower block very impressive and clean. I loved the little hide and will certainly be booking up to come back next summer. It brought back the peaceful serene atmosphere I experienced camping with my grandparents when a child...however slightly more luxurious. 10/10 :-)

  The hotel staff was ever so helpful and kind, the decoration in black and white is very charming, the wireless internet works very well and breakfast is excellent with the serving of hot English breakfast, fresh cheese and ham and yogurt. - Free mini bar and coffee / tea making facilities.   It was close to city centre, about 15 minutes walk. Cute little room with a comfy bed. Not a lot of frills, but didn't feel like anything I needed was really lacking. Had a cozy inn kind of feel to it.   The staff were amazingly helpful and accommodating. We arrived way too early but they made the room available and for us anyway. We checked out on the last day but were allowed to keep the car on the car park so we could enjoy the rest of the day in York without having to pay to park in the city.   The Location of the hotel was only a 10 minute walk but after a few points and a walk around the town a taxi will cost you £5. Didn't really know what to expect after reading some of the reviews but I found it very comfortable. Just check in and then you can come and go, there's no reception or leaving your keys. Comfortable room and bed, generous supply of tea, coffee, etc, and an excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

  We received a warm welcome having arrived early. The two rooms, one a small double ensuite and the other a small twin ensuite were excellently presented and clean. Breakfast was a mix of cereal, fresh fruit juice, grapefruit segments or prunes plus any combination of a full traditional cooked with toast and tea or coffee. Depending how quick you walk, the centre of York is easily manageable in 15 minutes with - The couple running the guest house were great. Very friendly. The breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, toast, yogurt, cereal and cook breakfast. It was very close to the town, only about 10-15 walk and there were plenty of restaurants nearby too. There was only two parking spot, one of which we had. Not sure where other guests parked so if you have a car it is not necessarily going to be parked on site. I would stay again and recommend this accommodation.

  Upon arrival, we were met at the door by the owner Graham, after the initial hellos and what have you, we were taken up to our room. It was lovely, smelt nice and fresh and was very clean. Our bathroom was situated just across the hall from us, and we found it very nice and spacious. Lovely soft towels, and little extras. Graham was very helpful, ... vad folk säger » telling us about which buses to catch, how often they were, and the best taxi rank to use in town if needed, which we did and it was about 6 quid to g - The owners are so lovely and helpful, we arrived on one of the busiest weekends and Graham was able to give us tips and tricks about where to go and what to see, as well as advice for beating the crowds. We were treated to a history lesson as well as an extremely wonderful stay at the guesthouse. Breakfast was incredible, we could chose full breakfast and if we had any requests they would make it for us if they had the ingredients, this was organised the night before as well as the time we woul

  Everything: the staff were very welcoming and so helpful: nothing was too much bother. The look of the hostel was more like that of a hotel than the stigma usually attached to hostels. This is a hotel without the extras (I.e doesnt have a hairdryer/towels & a tv on the wall), other than that it does exactly what it says on the tin!!   Staff were very helpful and polite. Room was immaculate and very comfortable. Also parking on site was a great bonus. Only 10 minute, nice walk into the centre. - The guest house was lovely and clean and the room was the same we were really pleased with it and will definately stay there next time we come to York.
