  It was at the quieter end of the beach, which suited us, with a fabulous view of the bay, and with carefully worked out parking arrangements. The town seemed to have facilities for all ages - in no particular order; sandy beach, restaurants, interesting shops, a working yet picturesque harbour, castle, nature reserve, small children's funfair, cin... vad folk säger » ema, great scenery in either direction, including the spectacular Chesil Beach and Portland Bill, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. - On the beach and long flat promenade walk in both directions. The owners are welcoming, friendly, eager to oblige and the breakfasts are cooked fresh, individually served and well presented even for my gluten free requirements. It was also great to have a parking facility at the premises.

  Really close to Weymouth train station and local buses, and just across the road from the glorious beach. Lesley and Clive were fantastic hosts. Our room was to the back of the hotel, and was really quite. It was lovely and clean, and we loved the decor. The homemade cake by their son-in-law was beautiful. The breakfast was great. The food took around 20 minutes to arrive, but this is far less than ho - The owners Leslie & Clive made us feel very welcome straight away, our room was lovely and great little touches , was extremely clean, the décor was lovely also. The breakfast was first class, did not need to eat anything until the evening as was too full, the quality of the breakfast was second to none. The hard work that the owners put in was certainly noticeable throughout our stay we will definatly be staying here again and was well worth the long journey from Essex.

  Owner was very friendly and helpful. She kindly recommended the pub down theroad but unfortunately they had staffing issues and we waited two hours to eat! Possibly a one off though.   The staff were very friendly and helpful and they could not do enough for me and my family the rooms are excellent and very clean and comfortable and designed beautiful - Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Close to beach. Easy parking on site. Although a vegetarian b&b the breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay again.

  Everyone was very friendly and went the extra mile for us. For example we had to leave at 6.30 am for the ferry and they kindly let us have the makings of breakfast in our room so we could eat before we left.   Good location near the town and beach. Stayed 3 nights and although in a residential area it was quiet every night. Good breakfast and extra's e.g. cereals, yoghurts, fruit and offered as much toast as we wanted. The owner was lovely and had a good balance of being helpful, without being overpowering. Would recommend this as a good place to stay. - The best thing about Philbeach Hotel was it felt like being at home. The deocr was not dated it was very modern without it being stuffy which is a big bonus when staying at a hotel, you want to feel comfortable and able to relax it did just that. The breakfast is made on request and was very nice, i had two young children with me and they were both accomodated for which is rare. Very satisfied cusomer.

  I booked on line with letsbookhotel.com and payed £29 for a one night stay in a single room, and I must admit after I booked I read some terrible reviews for this Hotel and I was a little apprehensive to say the least, but on the whole it was good. The room I stayed in was clean,and had an en suite with - We both liked the beach front location and all the maze of streets in Weymouth, there are a good selection of reasonable restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel did there best to help with parking as Weymouth is no at all easy to find parking.The hotel is very old clean and a maze of corridor's with small staircases up and down all over the place they do have a lift but you will still have to navigate a few stairs. All in all be had a very pleasant stay great value for money
