  The hotel looked much better in reality than on the photo. We loved the fact that it was not trendy & old fashioned - comfortable - many sofas - chairs etc scattered around the hotel where you can rest - lovely friendly bar - also many tables /benches where you can sit & have a drink outside facing the sea - Would definitely return here !... vad folk säger » - The bedroom / ensuite were excellent and very very comfortable. The Staff were so helpful and friendly and the whole atmosphere was so magical. This was a present to my husband and I for our 50th wedding anniversary and we will certainly be back in the not too distant future.

  A proper holiday hotel!! The bedroom was clean, a decent size, and had sea view (we were upgraded as there was a room with a bath availible), The staff were professional, pleasant, polite and efficient (especially the breakfast room staff) the breakfast was frehly cooked and filling. The staff were helpful on the desk. The room was great with a view, even it was on the second floor. Everything was at hand. The breakfast was a hearty one. Would recommend.

  Central seafront location, good food, ( we only stayed b&b though), quiet at night despite location. Caters for ( but not exclusively for) the partially- sighted, but all were made very welcome. Free parking on site, and very helpful and friendly staff. Five minutes amble to the town centre shops, and the beach and new Pier were over the road.... vad folk säger » Central heating was at our control via thermostat radiators, and there was oodles of really hot water. Brill! Its not a place that would suit a young - My stay was peaceful comfortable and a total pleasure. All staff are very friendly and the hotel has real character. My room was clean and the bathroom was lovely and breakfast was good. The location is perfect and the hotel is clearly a gem for those short breaks and even long stays. Just remember this is a 3 star real hotel with a 5 star staff who are really what makes this place such a pleasure to stay at. I look forward to going back again and again and strongly suggest you try this lovely

  Excellent location close to beach and pier and also ideal for the town centre. Booking in at reception was so easy and relaxed and all required information was given by a very knowlegable receptionist and it only took a few minutes. Our room was very clean with comfortable beds and plenty of clean towels. We did have an evening meal at the Smiths ... vad folk säger » and again it was of a very high stanfard. This hotel has been one of the best hotels we have stayed in and have already recomended it to our friends. - thought the staff were all fantastic could not do enough for us in all our demands. I cannot fault anyone who worked there always a smile and a friendly hello.I had a small issue with the room when we got there but John sorted it straight away and to be fair it was unforeseen, i am a great believer in seeing how issues are dealt with and i have very high standards when i have paid good money for a service.

  On arrival we found the receptionist to be friendly and helpful and we were checked in quickly. Our room was very clean and well decorated and was exactly what we needed. The location was ideal for us and we did not notice any noise from the nearby road. - Very friendly welcome and check in. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great staff in hotel and restaurant. Would highly recommend.

  Arrived and greeted by Roy, very welcoming and friendly, showed us to our room (6&7) which was lovely with a view of the sea/pier. Stayed for two nights with my partner, for a rest bite without the children. Meet Margaret the first morning,as she was serving the delicious full english breakfast cooked by Roy. Will be going back again for a weekend - Excellent welcome, checked in earlier than thought we could, room small but perfectly formed, bed was super comfy, breakfast was excellent and it was a 5 minute stroll to the sea and bars etc.
