  Our first stay at a Village Hotel, very impressed by the friendly staff. Especially the reception staff who were very helpful, and provided us with detailed directions to our chosen destination.   The staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful. I loved the Victorian atmosphere and design. The food was excellent and so was the on premise pub. Access to the city center is a major plus. The only discrepancy was the beds. The mattresses are box springs basically. All that's needed are some soft to firm mattresses, bed sheets and blanket ins... vad folk säger » tead of comforter and bed sheet cover. Cover's were old and looked dirty. Other than that on a rating of 10 (best) to 1 (worst) I say about 7. - Fabulous place! Like an old coaching inn redecorated in Edwardian times. Extremely elegant furniture and wallpaper, and a wonderful four poster bed. Why is this place not in the "hotels" category? I can't see why anyone would want to stay anywhere else in Walsall.

  Excellent Location for us. Comfortable beds. The blackout blinds are excellent it felt like midnight even at 10 in the morning - good value for money, staff are all approachable and helpfull, room is nice, food is lavishing

  Everything it was fantastic. The Spa room we had was so quiet and beautifully appointed. Food in the Restaurant was superb as was the service of the staff. - The service was outstanding from the people at reception, waiters at the restaurant. Being a vegetarian, the staff were very welcoming and accomodating.

  We stay in this hotel, when visiting my son and family. All members of staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. We now get the same room when we visit, a bit like being at home. The last time we stayed we were unsure whether to stay an extra day or not; the day of initial departure I asked if we could stay another night and it was... vad folk säger » arranged immediately no problems whatsoever. - Having stayed at this hotel a number of times in the last year, I find that every visit the staff are constant in their professionalism, and friendliness, this relates to all the staff and not just reception.   The hotel was very nice and in a good spot for our break. My mother is 96yrs and so being in the town was ideal for shops and getting to relatives by bus and taxi. WE found the hotel good , clean and comfortable and were not preasured to leave the room until we were ready.   Took my nephew s & daughter for the weekend. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough. Breakfast yes we had to pay but it was a reasonable price kids ate free, selection of food was outstanding. Definitely stay again.
