Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. From the moment we got there to when we left we were made to feel welcome. Friendly atmosphere, calm and casual, and very professional. The room was brilliantly clean; the breakfast is one of the best I have had away from home. Great hosts, great hotel, thank you Chris, Kerry, and Yvonne. This will be our first choice hotel to stay at in the Torbay area from now on.

The room we stayed in was a gold room, clearly refurbished to a high standard. Luxurious room with a view out over the gardens and down to the sea. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Ideally placed for a five minute walk down into the harbour where there is a range of bars and clubs. There is a slight hill walk down and back up to the hotel but we didnt find it that bad although it could be for the less agile. All in all a fantastic stay and we will definitely stay again.

Myself and my wife stayed at the Cimon for a short break in mid-October we travel all over the UK I must say this most defiantly the best guest house we have stayed in all the years we have been traveling the country from the second Adam opened the door we were made very welcomed he made you feel at home. I can certainly recommend this hotel to anybody whol is thinking of booking a hotel in Torquay. The hotel was very clean and well kept. Our room which was on the top floor (which I asked for) was lovely.

Nice white towels, tea/coffee making facilties - Staff at the hotel were so friendly and it was great to see a young couple with a family working so well together. We loved the stay at this hotel. It is located in a beautiful location. The restaurant had views of the bay/seafront. Our room was located on Belgrave rd, so we had wonderful views of the gardens in Abbey Park. The breakfast was wonderful and very comprehensive! My 4 yr old son wanted to buy the hotel (we were in Torquay viewing properties). -
