  This is a small B&B in quite back street but very close to the river side and town so we were close to everything Lovely Dartmouth has to offer. The room was tastefully decorated and clean with comfortable bed.( Some of the front rooms are larger). Stairs could be problem for less mobile. Parking not available at B&B due to location but the main car park was only t - the location is excellent in the center which is on the water, very close to the shops, caffes and the marina, we did not have to use the car and we very much enjoyed staying there. all the boats and buses are very close. the room is enough in size and atmospher. it is run by the owners(we think ) who are helpfull and give you a welcome feeling.very good breakfast.

  I rarely write reviews, but I'm willing to make an exception for the Ship in Dock. Fantastic location, with views out over the harbour and Naval College. Super welcoming owners (Jim and Linda) who personally welcomed me, and made sure they found my girlfriend to welcome her too whilst I was parking the car. (My girlfriend tells me the breakfast was great - with plen - room 2...shower was awesome ,lovely and clean bathroom. facilities and room very tidy, no problem when we asked for extra tea/coffee & milk for our room. lovely views of Dartmouth from window. breakfast was plentiful and host made us very welcome upon arrival :-) would definitely stay there again.

  The receptionist who showed us to our room was so apologetic and very unhappy that she was unable to change our room as the hotel was completely full. Breakfast next morning was extremely good and the service excellent. The car parking facilities, i.e., our keys handed over, the car parked so that we had access to the boot and next morning the car... vad folk säger » was parked in the space opposite the hotel ready for our departure. - It is a lovely hotel, quite expensive but the staff were excellent, room was gorgeous, breakfast brilliant and service spot on. We also had a river view room for both nights when we were originally booked to have a non river view for one night and a river view for the other. We only had to pay the price for the originally booking. We particularly liked the Galleon Bar, lovely decor etc and the food was delicious.

  This is a new business and the owners are doing a great job of making you feel very welcome. We got the impression that there are still one or two small jobs to correct but no doubt they will be perfected. The whole house has been converted to a very high standard and is extremely clean and modern. The breakfast was excellent including a superb fresh fruit salad. - Lovely friendly welcoming owners, gorgeous decor & comfy big bed. Really lovey breakfast, local produce. I noticed Neil knew everyone's names. I think that's a great quality to take the time to learn that. Great location & taxi's are about £3.50 from town so treat yourself & don't do the walk up hill back. Car park on site. Choose a room with a view, the views from here are stunning.
