  Had a really nice stay. Staff were excellent and could not have been more helpfull from the moment i pulled my car up to the moment i checked out. The hotel has a private car park at the rear which is free for guests to use. This was a real bonus as parking is a major problem in Rye because of its narrow streets and i didnt fancy having to get u... vad folk säger » p at 8am to move the car. - I found the hotel excellent value for money, friendly staff and very comfortable. all areas were very well maintained and clean.   The dbb was amazing value. Great food: our evening meal was anything from the a la carte menu and each course was beautifully cooked and presented. Breakfast was excellent too with plenty of choice. We stayed in the Crow's Nest - a really comfortable room with great views. Attractive hotel in a prime position. Staff friendly and helpful. We had avery comfortable ensuite deluxe room on the second floor with a greatshower, nice linens, and beautiful views of the countryside and CamberCastle. Although we did not have dinner there, our breakfasts weredelicious. I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay there again.

  Excellent hosts. Adrian and Liz made us feel very welcome. They were informative about the area, provided us with all we needed and made a wonderful breakfast that lasted us all day!! Our room 'Playden' was beautifully decorated, comfy bed and very clean. Willow Tree has a beautiful garden which you are free to use, and Barney the dog is a lovely! Excellent location to the town and the breakfasts are AMAZING!

  Fantastic location in old part of Rye port. Very relaxed ambience - genuine personal contact with staff, with no professional barriers. My dogs were not just tolerated but positively welcomed and appreciated which, for a dog owner, makes a huge difference. Food was innovative and excellent. Why is that so unusual? - This was our second stay at The Ship Inn. We had previously stayed there in 2011 a few months before we got married this time, we wanted to have a little holiday in Rye before our baby arrived. We enjoyed our stay so much that it brought on early labour! But we had enough time to have the delicious breakfast they provide and managed to check out, drive back to London and have our beautiful baby boy the next day.
