  This was a special family trip to revisit places from 61 years ago. Age range of our party was 56 - 85. We were made to feel like part of the family and the staff could not do enough for us. The facilities were great, rooms comfortable, tea facilities in the room were second to none, The chef definitely can cook, his food was fantastic. Simon (boss) even advised where we should go site seein - Staff are warm and friendly adn efficient with a great sence of humour. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always smiling. The room we had was light, large and comfortable and spotlessly clean as were all other areas. They clearly work really hard to keep this place nice. Had dinner and breakfast there and the food is really tasty, well cooked and mostly sourced locally which shows in the freshness and flavour

  Very comfortable, large room with luxurious 'old style' decor. Excellent dinner in restaurant with friendly, helpful restaurant manager.   A lovely old house. Bedroom with separate spacious bathroom made for a comfortable stay. The hostess was friendly and helpful and the breakfast generous.
