Being able to use the pool on arrival and in the morning. Great location. The bacon was particularly tastey at breakfast. Great power shower. Huge double bed. - Excellent facilities and particularly impressed with exclusive on site car park!! I could have slept on that bed for a week!!

Stone Manor had a lovely "feel" about it a welcoming and well maintained old black and white manor house. We only had breakfast over our 2-day stay but the food was excellent, with alternative options available on request. Nothing seemed too much trouble!

It is very quirky- we stayed in the soon to be renovated part. What a shame, this is vintage 70s and should be separately preserved. We were first offered a modernized room in the "chateau", but while very nice, this was quite generic like all other hotel rooms now seem to be. We had drinks in the grounds, very Downton Abbey. Staff efficient and friendly, breakfast ample.

Hotel staff very efficient and courteous, room very clean and comfortable, restaurant excellent. - Room was excellent value for money and staff friendly and efficient, I only wish I had time to make full use of the leisure facilities. Beautiful views and very private. Extremely clean and comfortable, modern, safe and quiet. All mod con's, even an iron and ironing board. So thoughtful of owners to leave bread, milk, juice, cookies, tea, coffee & hot chocolate, very much appreciated after a long journey with children. Lovely toiletries and towels too! Really enjoyed our stay and if in the area again would definitely stay here. Owners are a delight to deal with!
