  Being able to use the pool on arrival and in the morning. Great location. The bacon was particularly tastey at breakfast. Great power shower. Huge double bed. - Excellent facilities and particularly impressed with exclusive on site car park!! I could have slept on that bed for a week!!

  The restaurant. Evening meal - Though not the most efficient staff, found them to be very amusing to watch - rather like faulty towers. Food was excellent. Also have to mention excellent receptionest who did her upmost to house us in a room on a lower floor to accomodate less mobile guest, when we called to make a last minute reservation based o... vad folk säger » n previous booking of two days prior on the net. - Efficient and friendly staff, wonderful ambience, very comfortable lounge areas to sit and relax. Stone Manor had a lovely "feel" about it a welcoming and well maintained old black and white manor house. We only had breakfast over our 2-day stay but the food was excellent, with alternative options available on request. Nothing seemed too much trouble!

  Hotel staff very efficient and courteous, room very clean and comfortable, restaurant excellent. - Room was excellent value for money and staff friendly and efficient, I only wish I had time to make full use of the leisure facilities. Very nice to have a freshly cooked breakfast rather than the usual help yourself to dried up food!

  We stay at two or three B & B’s every year and this is the best one we have ever stayed at. The rooms were clean and decorated in a way that it felt like a home from home. You had free range of the kitchen if you wanted to prepare your own food as well having the option of using the living rooms to relax in after a long tiring day out explor... vad folk säger » ing the area. The rooms were light and with plenty of room. One room is available if you wish to bring your dog which is always nice. As soon as we - We stayed in the self-contained flat which was outstanding value for a family of four. My two sons (aged 8 and 10) loved the space and freedom of the flat and the gardens. My husband and I did not have to worry about them waking up early and disturbing other guests or even dressing for breakfast! Having our own kitchen meant that we were able to cook a simple late supper without dragging the children out to find a restaurant. All in all, a real home from home.
