  We stayed for 1 night in Aug 08 at Jesmonds to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We both loved everything about the hotel and the restaurant and unlike other reviews thought it was very good value for what we had.   We really enjoyed our stay the rooms are lovely. There was nothing we could fault and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We did try to email prior to our visit but I think the web site has a fault they might like to look into this as it might affect their bookigs. - Excellent accommodation, excellent food and service, and excellent friendly ... vad folk säger » staff.   The staff make you feel welcome from the moment you step through the door. You feel like old friends. You are made to feel like royalty & what needs you have they will try to fulfil for you. I went back the following week for Mothers Day as the food is amazing. Pub prices however food far superior!! I have booked to go back in June & Octob... vad folk säger » er. Would recommend highly!! - I liked the authentic old world feel of the building, the friendliness and help of the staff. The water, lighting and fire alarm all gave trouble while we were there and at one stage it felt like "Falty Towers" had been based on this place! However we got a great laugh out of it and the friendliness of the staff more than made up for it. We hope to return there again.

  Very convenient for our need.... We were at a wedding which was at thechurch next door. - The staff were very friendly. The hotel itself is a blend of old meets new with regard to decor. The food in the restaurant was excellent!
