  Although the room was small the way it was furnished for what I paid far exceeded my expectations! Lovely and comfortable with everything you could possibly need (some complimentary soap and shampoo would be nice but for what I paid not expected). Can't recommend this place enough and if I come back to South Shields this will certa - The staff were very kind and friendly. They were interested in our visit and made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless and a reasonable size. The location was excellent and as we went out on a night it was not far to walk back and we was near a wide range of food outlets. It was very modern and the bathroom facilities were most pleasing.

Needed to stay longer to really enjoy stay as 2 nights were not enough. Owner very helpful and felt sorry for her that some guests had, inexcusably, caused some damage to the property.   Absolutely fantastic!! Will definitely be returning. Booked up with 3 other friends for a girls weekend and could not fault this hotel at all. Fantastic staff on reception who were always happy to advise where to go for a night out, 2 minute walk from the train station and within walking distance to bars and 'the gate'.   I loved everything about the guest house. The place smells lovely, beautifully designed, the room was tidy and clean, the towels smell nice and clean.   It was very good for what we needed, which was a good rest, with pleasant local restaurants for evening meals.. We were there during the exceptionally bad weather the last weekend but one in March, and the fact that it was pretty isolated down a deep narrow lane gave rise to concerns ( unfounded as it turned out) that there was the possibility of... vad folk säger » adverse weather trapping us there or preventing our return after a day out. Because the weather was so cold we often returned early with a picnic tea - The location was an absolute delight with fantastic views. The accommodation was far beyond my expectations and was 5* quality, and totally luxurious. Breakfast in the farmhouse dining room was to a very high standard. I would have no reservations about recommending Riding Farm to every one

  We booked at the last moment to attend a funeral and because it was so late, I was unable to book 3 on-suite rooms, one had an external toilet on another floor. The Seabreeze has very friendly and helpful staff. While we travelled an on-suite room became available and they automatically allocated me that room at no extra cost! Add a cooked breakfast, which will be be - Staff were very friendly, couldnt ask for any better, always very polite and well mannered. Was not noisy at all. Heating was always on so was nice and warm. Had Tv with built in DVD player. Room was cleaned daily and presentation was very good of towels and complimentary washing aids. All in all was one of the best B & B's we have stayed in. We will definitely be staying at the Seabreeze on our next trip to South Shields :)
