The owner, Samantha, is very friendly and accommodating. We stayed 4 nights and every morning she prepared a superb breakfast with local products. Room was very cosy and the bed was very comfortable. We had a totally relaxed stay in Laxton. Across the B&B is a very good Inn, The Dovecote, where each night, we had a wonderful diner. -

The Gardeners Lodge B&B has only one room, but what a room! The room is very clean and tidy and has the allure of a four star hotel. You will receive a warm welcome from the young owners.
There is a nice big bed, dimmable lights around, a large TV with plenty of channels to choose from and good working free WiFi, etc.

What an absolute little Gem this is. Admittedly, when you first arrive, things seem a little unusual, as you are led through the garden to what looks like a converted garage but once inside, it really is home from home. Lovely comfy bed, very secure and peaceful, spotlessly clean and the breakfast was excellent (especially as it was served in my room - couldn't have been better). I would have no hesitation recommending the Gardeners Lodge to anyone - you will certainly be made to feel very welc

The room was just as we hoped, private, set out to a very high standard,
the food in the pub was to die for, the owners and staff could not do
enough for you. There are some small pigs on the land that are not for
food and the owner will let you pet them we had a really relaxing time
walking in the village and just having time out from the every day life.

I highly recommend this B & B. On arrival we were welcomed into Sherwood Cottage like old friends. The cottage is not only beautifully decorated, it is spotlessly clean. Nothing is too much trouble for David and Paul, and the breakfast was scrumptious. We will most definitely be back, though not soon enough. -

Lovely spacious room with big fluffy towels. Very nice, friendly couple. Pretty village and quiet location. Good access to Lincoln & Nottingham but away from the bustle. The limited parking on the drive wasn't a problem as there was plenty of spacious at the front and side of the house to park. -

As someone who spends 3 to 4 nights every week in hotels I don't think it gets any better than Crosshill House. A welcoming and helpful hostess. Comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated and well equpped rooms. A beautifully renovated house and gardens with easy parking in a stunning location. A mouth watering breakfast with everything you could wish for. Brilliant!!! I will be back!

Chose the hotel purely because we were going to a gig at Rock City (next door), and for its proximity to the city centre. The hotel was very nice and clean, the rooms were gorgeous and the beds huge, very comfortable.
