  We received an extremely friendly welcome and the staff were friendlythroughout our stay. Room was clean, comfortable and welcoming and hadall the facilities needed. Downstairs in the reception area there is awelcoming lounge / bar where you can sit and watch tv, chat, read a bookand generally relax.   Friendly, helpful staff and excellent value for money. The Hotel was very comfortable, within easy walking distance from the ferry port and shops. - The staff were some of the friendliest I have met in my many years of travelling and were always willing to go that extra mile.

  All reviews mention the famous carpet on the stairs, but my room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the meals in the bar were fine, and the location is excellent, opposite the castle, next to a bus stop and convenience store, and an easy walk to the railway station. - A very warm welcome by the staff.   in particular the price was very good. We could afford to visit the Isle of Man more if other hotels were available for this sort of price - it was very pleasant the staff were all friendly and the food was excellent

  The room was very clean and well looked after. The food was excellent. The staff were very helpful and pleasant, its a shame I could only stay the one night,, would liked to have been there longer. - All staff were very friendly and helpfull,rooms were excellent ,goodchoice breakfast excellent

  Location - slightly out of town (an easy 10 min walk) but quiet and our room had an excellent view of the gardens, promenade and port Staff- very friendly and helpful, actually interested in what you were and had done Lock up shed to put our three bicycles in - Clean, tidy, well kept.
