I'd recommend this hotel unreservedly. - The hotel was situated 2 minutes walk from the town centre, with free on street parking. The owner was friendly and inviting. Breakfast and service was very good, with a good choice of foods. The rooms were clean and tidy, with tea and coffee facilities.

The attentiveness of the owners was lovely, nothing was too much trouble also very helpful with suggestions of how to spend our time there and even lent us map books. I liked the location very much. It's situated at the end of a small road with a magnificent view of the loch. Close by is the Foyers Falls which have a nice trail close to the hotel. To stay at Foyers bay country house is like staying at someone's home. If you prefer anonymity and to sit by your self. Don't go here. If you like to chat with the owner and play with his dog, this is the place.

Location and room quality. Staff did all they could for rectify any problems. We were upgraded to the best rooms before arrival.Log fire. Did not have to pay for 2 poor meals and scotch for the ladies and a chance to talk the problems over with the manager were much appreciated. I hope they are able to improve the food offer. -

Modern clean rooms with excellent shower room, especially liked the shower gel supplied in wall dispenser gorgeous smell, the hand soap dispenser was the same, we stayed in room 9.
The hotel in general had a nice cosy feel to it.
Excellent staff, extremely helpful, cheery friendly and efficient, I travel a fair bit and these were the best I had encountered in quite a while.
The breakfast was lovely, yet again served by friendly cheery efficient staff.

Excellent hotel in practically all respects. Ross was an exceptional host. His nature/personality is perfect to be the Host of Royston.
His Home/Guest House is warm and inviting as he is what a wonderful time we had plenty of talking, laughter and good times.
Nothing was too much trouble and the cleaniness and décor was just like home.

The room was clean and well appointed with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. A nice lounge area for guests. Piping hot breakfast served at table and good choice on buffet.Two establishments close by for evening meals. The owner was friendly and offered local advice. My originally allocated room had an electrical fault ( kettle wouldn't boil but it turned out to be the circuit ) and I was immediately moved by the manager. The new room was at the front and I gained a view to the loch. The TV in the new room didn't work properly but that was sorted quickly too.
The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfasts good with cheery and friendly staff.
