This is the best B & B I have stayed at. Having looked around I preferred it to the local hotels. The owners go out of their way to make your stay a pleasure. My 5 night stay was 5 star. My room was spotless and the bed was the most comfortable I have EVER slept in. The marine has the most wonderful setting with a superb view across thurso shore to scrabster harbour, Holborn head, Orkneys and dunned head. Thanks Karen & Richie for your helpfulness and the lovely breakfasts, my great start to perfect days. I will be visiting you again.

The hotel was very comfortable, in a fantastic location, the views down the Loch are breath taking. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble from the moment we arrived. A delightful place, very friendly owner staff, bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant(we arrived after the kitchen was officially closed but they but they looked after us anyway.We used as a stopover on the way to Inverness and wished we had lingered for at least a day there.
