  Bed was comfortable and we had a quiet area to stay in. Very nice modern pool with hot tub and sauna & steam room and family changing rooms. Modern hotel throughout. There are shops and Farnborough centre nearby (walking distance away) which is handy. - The atmosphere is modern and chilled while maintaining a cosy edge.   Accommodation, service and cuisine was exceptional value for money Staff were friendly and helpful in Reception. The room (which was an upgrade) was lovely, wonderfully comfortable and beautifully appointed, all in all a wonderful hotel in which to relax and unwind.   The booking got messed up, booked a superious suite, got given a twin,changed to a exec double at a reduced rate, promised free wine thatdidn't arrive and got a massive discount because of all the problems butStaff were very good at resolving these problems with no fuss so stillmade it a very enjoyable stay - whilst being a large hotel it retained ... vad folk säger » its intimacy, reception staff and restaurant staff very good and the food was excellent. Surprised there was not a jacuzzi in the pool though.

  Fantastic environment for a family trip to marwell zoo! We loved theattention to detail in the hotel and rooms even down to the animal printmugs and penguin biscuits!   Mycket vänlig och kunnig personal. Jag kommer gärna tillbaka. - Fantastic building overlooking the port of Southampton. Everything you would expect from a top hotel. Great value dinner inclusive rate. - The service was very good, and freindly. The facilities were available if wanted. The location was great for our purposes.

  Staff very helpful and friendly - allowed us to park in staff car park, when the bay parking was full. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice (toaster needs turning up though to get slightly darker toast); eggs were poached to perfection. Ideal location for Gunwhart Quays, historic shipyard and just a ten minute walk into Portsmouth town centre... vad folk säger » - through the very pretty Victoria Park. We stayed in a recently refurbished room on the first floor - extremely high standard and finish, very quite - It was just ideal for our stay, mum n I hadn't been Portsmouth in a very long time, we thought the hotel was great conveniently located in the fact that was close to the places we wanted to go. The historic dockyards n the spinnaker was fabulous n magnificent and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Hotel was lovely n spacious, friendly staff willing to help n made u feel very welcomed. Close to where we wanted to go close to the ammenties and parking was great didn't need to travel far in the car

  The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone.   The staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was brand new, well decorated, fairly spacious and very clean. Loved the pool and steam room! Breakfast was pretty good with a wide selection, but the evening meal was pricey and not great. The Thai Green Chicken was basically just a large lump of chicken breast with a bit of sauce. However the Se... vad folk säger » lection of Cheeses was delicious, as was the wine. - This was a first class experience; delicious breakfast, and other meals, cheerfully and efficiently served, with helpful and pleasant staff everywhere. The estate was lovely, and the layout of the hotel made sense. The rooms were beautifully kept and appointed, and the place was restfully quiet at night. Amenities were enjoyed, and were well appointed and operated. We have no negative comment.

  At the Meon the staf really shone, Holly who was our waitress in the evening was excellent, we felt very special, Tania was equally fantastic who looked after us at breakfast. The reception staff were also helpful and found us dressing gowns without question, well done great service all round. Food was excellent as was the service everywhere. The leisure facilities were very good and well maintained, just a shame the Sauna was out of order. We had a very pleasurable stay and would come back again.
