  From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The facilities exceeded our expectations. Breda and her staff were friendly and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was plentiful with variety. We were supposed to stay for one night but were so impressed decided to stay an extra night. This was the first time we had stayed in a guest house as opposed to a hotel and based upo - Great location, 5 minutes walk from Southgate shops, restaurants and Underground station. We ate a lovely dinner at Kye's restaurant which is in the opposite direction to the shops, 5 minutes walk away. The Oaks is is in a quiet location with friendly hosts, and it was a clean and well presented room.

  Laura was wonderfully friendly and helped out in all sorts of unexpected ways. She removed an ink stain somehow acquired while travelling and helped with calling multiple cousins. The room was wonderful, very comfortable, quiet, and had modern shower facilities. My IPhone charger blew out and she helped w subsequent fuse recovery and charging.   When I realized that London hotel rooms are very, very small, I found the 9 Hertford Street apartment hotel. It's location is excellent: just off Piccadilly st., very close to Green Park underground station that brings you anywhere (including to and from Heathrow airport with the Piccadilly line) , a 25 minutes walk to Oxford st.   Everything very smooth and an oasis to have so much space in comparison to the ordinary hotel room in London. Good shower and toiletries! Location is perfect, about a minutes walk to the tube (served by multiple lines), loads of shops and eateries around but off the main street, so nice and quiet. Having a kitchen at hand means being able to keep ... vad folk säger » your costs down with regard to eating, which is nice. We could leave our bags in the hotel on the last day and were even given plenty of time to charg - Melissa at the reception was terrific. She was very helpful and accommodating. She received a parcel for me and it was waiting in the apartment when we got back from Paris. The location is excellent. A 3-minute walk from Earl's Court station which has the Piccadilly and district lines stopping here so it's super convenient. There is a Sainsbury local, the co-operative and M&S near the station (for food supplies) plus a Boots and a stationery shop. Lots of eateries too.

  The apartment was ideal for a family of four. The facilities throughout the apartment were more than adeqate for our city visit and although we were only in London for 2 nights I would gladly of used this apartment for a much longer visit. We also felt independant and able to come and go as we pleased. We were in London for the marathon so the self catering apartment fitted in with our own requirements, food etc. Will come again.

  We were very impressed with this hotel. The hotel is very new, and running smoothly. Service from the front desk was exceptional as we were warmly welcomed and provided with a lot of information about where to go in Soho, and London for our weekend. The location is fantastic on a quiet but lively street with bars and restaurants, just off Dean St and an easy wa - Excellent location in Soho, just south of Oxford St. (Shopping), east of Charing Cross Rd. (Bookstores), and north of China Town (good food), Liecester Square (half-price theater tickets), and a whole slew of West End theaters. Very helpful staff at Reception. They gave us good restaurant recommendations and booked us a Mercedes to Heathrow that cost less than a black cab. When I asked for more coffee and ultra pasteurized milk for the room, they loaded me up. We spent a lot of time searching

  Loved the spaciousness of the apartment (2 bed/2 bathroom), the well fitted kitchen (fridge, freezer, dishwasher & washing machine), the closeness to West India Quay and Canary Wharf for top quality restaurants, shops & the River Cruise station. Only 5 minutes walk from Westferry DLR station, about 25 minutes from St Pancras in total. Walk... vad folk säger » the Thames Path to Tower Bridge - about an hour but 3 historic pubs on the route. Cruise up river on the Thames Clipper to any City dock. Chill out i - Excellent, quality accommodation - clean and quiet with good transport links (DLR and river ferry) and local shopping / pubs / eating out. The views from the apartment (9th floor) are spectacular which provided an added bonus! Tip for taxi users - we used a local cab company (Carrot Cars) to go from the apartment to Euston station at a very reasonable rate (£21) that was quoted on booking and didn't change despite long delays due to traffic congestion - and it was nearly 30% cheaper than the b
