The location is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Slaughters Country Inn and the tranquil surroundings of what is a stunning village. The staff were very welcoming, very friendly and attentive throughout the stay. Our room, in the main building, had beautiful views over the rear garden and ponds. Very well situated, easy to find. Stafff were very pleasent and helpful. The beds in the twin room were very comfortable. The Bumble Bee pub next door was very convient and excellent food. - friendly staff and on noticing my wife has walking limitations they relocated us to the ground floor. Also the pub /restaurant next door very good.

This hotel was advertised as a 3 star but it could be mistaken for a 5 star. The food in the 2 AA rosette restaurant was superb and quite reasonably priced, the staff were excellent could not help you enough their service made us feel very special, we stayed in the winter and it was very cosy having drinks in the lounge with a real log fire roaring

its is nicely situated on the east of Cheltenham ideally for walkers and business people. The staff are nice and friendly you get a good welcome and the owners will greet you when you arrive or see you off when you leave.

This welcoming hotel just outside Cheltenham is on a quiet section of the A40, with views across the garden to the hills beyond. You can easily get into Cheltenham by bus and there are lots of walks in the surrounding countryside. The hotel has a conservatory, bar and restaurant (which we didn't try but the menu looked attractive). There are plenty of books and newspapers if you prefer to stay indoors.
