  We loved the classic old style pub, especially when the log fire was lit in the evening. Lots of atmosphere with interesting photos on the walls. The staff were friendly and helpful.   We liked the beautiful grounds and the obvious level of care that goes into them. The room was spacious as was the bathroom - lovely toiletries and facilities in the bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast and - From the minute we checked in, the service was friendly, polite, simply wonderful. We booked a better room (3 stories) which felt like a mini hideaway with the bathroom spread over one floor with the most delectable products. The bed and bedding was Devine and hard to leave! Dinner that evening also surpassed our expectations and the crab bisque was one of the best I've ever had. Truly the best break from London imaginable and we can't wait to go back!
