  The whole friendly atmosphere was very reasurring and comforting. We enjoyed the company and the surroundings and ease of travelling to otehr centres and scenic spots. The food at The Beacon was superb, and I have to say the best scrambled eggs with mushrooms that we had any where in the UK while travelling. Delicious.   Really liked my sunny south facing bedroom with excellent en-suite bathroom. Exceptionally comfortable memory foam mattress (particularly important as I sometimes suffer with back pain). Really friendly, helpful landlady Rosemary who makes very tasty breakfasts and is full of local knowledge. Also Bruce who helped me sort out my best route to n... vad folk säger » ext destination. Lovely couple. It was also very helpful having on site parking.Would hugely recommend anyone else to stay. - Our friendly hosts provided clean, well equipped accommodations. From this location you can walk to restaurants, the harbour, town centre and National Maritime Museum. Pendennis Castle is a 5 minute drive away. The breakfast, provided for an additional charge, was excellent.

  We loved the atmosphere, the breakfast was perfect, the bed was very comfy, location and history added to our time there, did I mention the food....surf and turf needs renaming but was just what I ordered, sticky toffee pudding although not homemade was smothered in clotted cream and was spot on, all in all we felt relaxed after a long flight and ... vad folk säger » long drive, Carlsberg was clear and fresh, bar area was as advertised but chef should change the oil as it did smell like a chippy on sunday but other - We always stay at Jamaica Inn when we are en route to St. Ives - which we have done in all seasons and in all weathers. The setting on beautiful,wild Bodmin Moor is romantic and atmospheric but extremely handy just off the A30. Warm and cosy inside, Manager Steve and his staff always make you more than welcome. Rooms are comfortable and squeaky clean and you can be sure of a very good breakfast the next day!

  The Hotel is within walking distance of the centre of the town, but far enough out to be quiet. I enjoyed my first stay there so much, Ive revisited 3 years in a row. Although I havent made use of all the facilities, they do have their own laundry, indoor and outdoor swimming pools.   Staff were friendly and polite and would have dome anything for our comfort, giving good advice on lunch / dinner recommendations. Was really impressed with out overall stay at St Bernards.   A very welcoming stay, comfortable in the family room for 2 adults + 2 children, with private shower & spa bath, close to beaches and Newquay's facilities and airport. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely return again for our family holiday in Newquay. - The owner and manager of the Aquarius B&B was extremely good at giving us all the help we needed, from trying to find the B&B in the dark and driving rain to what to expect on our first surfing experience. She is good at making you feel comfortable whatever time of day it is, and nothing was too much trouble. The spa bath that came with our room was fantastic, as was the breakfasts. The rooms are bright and comfortable beds.

  I booked this quite late after having a browse on the letsbookhotel.com, I read some reviews, looked at the location and was great. I got a txt on the day of arrival to ask when I was going arrive (nice touch) and when arrived felt very welcoming. The lodge is well decorated, clean, and they've even got a friendly dog. Breckfast was good. They... vad folk säger » even filled up my flask for two days and provided a 'take away' breckfast as I left early on the day of departure. I stay in a lot of different plac - Room and facilities were fantastic, great shower, very comfortable bed, light clean room with plenty of areas for clothes to go, owners were the best part, were helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough to make your stay more comfortable, even gave my friend a lift to the wedding, if we were going to miss breakfast they gave little take away breakfast bag. Would stay here again.

  I was bowled over by the friendliness and team-spirited nature of ALL of the staff I met - and also by their constant willingness to assist. Moreover, everyone was particularly welcoming to my two children (boys aged 14 and 11); which always makes a real difference to the holiday experience. I came away with the impression that everyone I encounte... vad folk säger » red seemed to be genuinely happy working at Hotel California and this contributed greatly to a pleasant and laid-back ambience. All in all, I wished I - I originally picked the Hotel California because I liked the name, wanted to stay in Newquay and the price is a good value. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Interiors are beautiful. The dining room had lots of windows, so you can enjoy the scenery while dining. Beautiful view of the bay from the outside deck. The outdoor pool looked inviting, but the temperature was little to cool for me to try it. If I get a chance to go back to the U.K., I will definitely stay at the Hotel California
