  I was half expecting a noisy room over a bar, but I was very wrong! The accommodation is housed in a discreet and newly built wing. The room was enormous and beautifully designed and fitted to a very high standard. The room I had looks much better than the one they use on their site, so reality far exceeded expectations. Parking was easy and the I... vad folk säger » nn is within quick reach of the city centre and station, or a suitable base for exploring Cornwall. - We were going on holiday to St Ives and decided to travel on the Friday night with an overnight stop nearby, instead of Saturday morning to beat the traffic jams. Arrived here to friendly reception at about 11.30pm with drinks brought to room. Rooms were smart, breakfast enjoyable, dining area had outside terrace with views and location was absolutely perfect for our travel plans. Would recommend to anyone doing what we did.

  The staff were exceptionally helpful - nothing was too much trouble. I also liked the fact that there was secure parking right next to the hotel - great value for central parking in Truro. - friendly staff, lovely room with free upgrade, great dinner and breakfast

  From arriving to leaving everything and everyone was excellent.The golf was very good (though rather slow, following a ladies friendly match). The hotel is in beautiful surroundings and was so quiet, particularly at night allowing for a good night's sleep. All the staff without exception were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. This greatly enhanced the experience of our holiday.   The staff were second to none, easy to converse with and always taking the time to stop and chat if you wished. The 7am - 9pm use of the pool was an attraction however the added bonus of inclusive yoga and cross fit training were an unexpected positive! The complex is clearly still developing and promises to be a truly beautiful - The hotel is set a long way off the road with lovely grounds. The rooms look as if they are chalet style, each with a balcony, and inside the open plan bathroom/shower is a nice touch and makes the room even more spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Room exceptionally clean and well presented. The food in the restaurant was superb and the waiting staff professional and friendly. The pool, steam room and sauna all very well done in the spa - great for a relaxing couple of days.

  St Mellion is a superb place to stay. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable with in-room tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The health facilities and the golf course looked great too, albeit our stay was primarily to visit friends in the area and so we were not in the resort long enough during any day to take full advantage of even the swimmi... vad folk säger » ng pools or the restaurant. Hopefully, we will be able to return in the future and will then plan to spend more time indoors and enjoy the pool etc. - Only on site for 10 hours (arrived late and left early) - but what I sore was all good. Breakfast options on the day start from approx £5 if you want tea and toast, lots of options up to the £12.50 full English which was very good. Spa looked great, would have loved to have spent more time there. The place was apparently full, I sore about 6 guests during my short stay and heard no one - very quiet. Beautiful surrounds.

  This hotel is a little gem. The rooms are stylish, comfortable and well- equipped. The restaurant was excellent and the lounges welcoming. But it's the staff that makes this place special. They couldn't have done more for us. The Staff at the May Tree Restaurant next door were equally pleasant and efficient, and the restaurant had a good family atmposhere.   Excellent customer service from the minute of entering right through to leaving. Nothing was too much for them. Everywhere you went it was clean. Nice size rooms, restuarant etc. Definitely would recommend it and possibly return again maybe even withthe children this time. - We arrived much earlier than the check in time but the receptionist ... vad folk säger » went out of her way to see if the room was ready. Above all I would say that despite long hours of dealing with the general range of customers needs in a busy environment, all - I had visited bude about ten years ago but was unable to see much of the area as it was for a bereavment so i wanted to spend a little more time there so i returned there this time last year unfortunately i was delayed in my arrival and the weather was not to great but the Brendon Arms was most wecoming and i hand a fantastic meal that night which made me want to return which i did getting more time to enjoy Bude and the Brendon Arms was just as good as last year.

  my husband and I were delighted to see a change from overly soft beds and pillows. Thank you.
