  Our 3rd floor room was clean, well equipped with towels and toilet sundries. Heating system was excellent and we liked the facility of being able to open the window for extra ventilation. The tea/coffee- making facilities were very good and there was no problem obtaining extra milks etc from the trolley. The staff were excellent: they were all pol... vad folk säger » ite and helpful and we liked the concession whereby we were excused having to pay the £5 parking charge because the lift was out of order. This was a - The staff were excellant, helpful and friendly. They gave us interconnecting rooms for us and our 2 grandchildren age 13 and 11 which was ideal. the room was pleasant and clean, it was in an ideal position for the shopping centre and the Mermaid Quay and the Dr Who experience all within easy walking distance. The breakfast was ok the continental part much better than the hot food.Good choice of drinks and proper orange etc. Good value for what we paid.

  Free upgrade to a suite because we were kept waiting for 20 minutes at reception was very generous. Free internet access in the room was useful, the room was immaculate and the bar restaurant downstairs was good. The service was friendly and welcoming too. - This hotel is modern, clean and spacious.   This is a great place to stay, close to the cia, all the shops andrestaurants and the train station. You come and go as you please. Thestaff are extremely friendly. The rooms are bright and so comfortableand the continental breakfast is excellent. All this on a budget price -every city should have one.   We were upgraded to the master suite for the same rate we were paying, as there was some confusion over our booking. When we opened the door we were wowed, absolutley fantastic view over Cardiff Bay and the room was very comfortable and quite. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, will be going back and will recommend to friends and family.... vad folk säger » Breakfast was lovely too. The best weekend thanku - The staff were particularly helpful with information for my grand daughter related to 'Doctor Who' . This was the reason for our visit to Cardiff. As a birthday present for a teenager who is mad about the programme. She had a lovely chat to your doormen who seem very knowlegable about the whole subject. The rooms have a wonderful veiw.

  I liked the fact that it was located so close to the city that I couldeasily walk to major tourist attractions. I also appreciated the use ofthe free car park. - The Mercure Lodge Hotel, Cardiff is a great hotel based about 5 mins from the centre - An excellent base for a weekend in Cardiff. Would reccomend :o)

  Stayed in an apartment not hotel. Ideally situated, great value and extremely clean and comfortable. Will definitely return. Lady booking us in was extremely helpful. - It was quite close to the city centre - only a 20 minute walk. \It wasvery secure and the apartment was immaculate and well presented.

The room was clean and comfortable with good facilities and the staff attentive without being intrusive. The gym and pool were clean and easy to use. Cardiff Bay and Millennium Centre are a genuine and gentle 15 - 20 minute walk away.

  Room at front overlooking square great outlook. Great pizzas and friendly, welcoming staff. Jolyn really nice, friendly and helpful, it was nice to have that personal touch.   Their location was brilliant and the security and parking at the apartments was excellent. The apartments were very nice, modern and spacious. I will definately use them again. - easy access to cardiff bay,home from home comforts, excellent facilities .would definitely stay here again.
