  The staff were very friendly and very helpful. It was excellent value for money, especially f you can get a room for 39.95 but not sure how you qualify for this. - Great value for money. Staff very helpfull. Fab nights sleep,good quality bed.needed extra pillow,it was no trouble for them. Will defo stay again when in area.

  Really nice bar with very helpful and friendly staff. Good rooms with all facilities but adapted to fit the struceure fo the 400 year old building. Food was excellent. Over all exceptional value and will stay again. - The clean, comfortable accommodation, friendly staff & good food made the stay enjoyable.   It was very close to shopping centre and so convenient especially during the wet weather. It suited me perfectly as I am slightly disabled and unable to walk for long distances. Beautiful decor.   Friendly staff above a quiet pub just off the main city centre High road. Easy access to the main routes in and out of the city. Landlord a pleasent chap quite accomodating and serves a decent pint of Guinness - Friendly people, close to the town. Room was spotless and bed was comfy.

  It was everything I have come to expect from Holiday Inns. Having use of the room until midday on departure day was an unexpected bonus. Evening meal and breakfast were both excellent. - the room was of a large size and very comftable. in a relaxing enviroment and east to locate.

  Staff were very helpful, polite, efficient and happy to help. I requested extra pillows,and theye arrived within 15mins. Disabled Parking and facilities were excellent. Will be using again!!!!!!! - Easy to locate off the M1. Stayed Sunday night for Monday flight from Luton Airport. Good rooms, clean and comfortable.

  We were treated so well we felt like part of the family. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a great conversations with the Landlord and all off the Staff. The food we had was well prepared and nicely presented. Our room was clean and tidy with sufficient storage space. We will definitely go back and take friends along.   the staff and the owners were absolutley fantastic they couldnt do enough for us. the position of the hotel couldnt of been better it was overlooking the river in a quiet spot but close enough to the centre to go shopping and a good night out. - i was there just for the night, and te staff was very helpfull and friendly

  An Old fashioned "Pub" with an outstanding range of beer on tap - good food - and nice people to drink with - Everything worked as it should, staff were friendly. Woudl definitely go back.
