  Everything! Very friendly, helpful owners Mike and Liz, nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation exceptional, very clean, comfortable and full of character, building /rooms renovated to a very high standard. Food great.   Both my Husband and myself really enjoyed our stay at The Burnside Guest House. What a lovely welcome we received, and were given every piece of information we needed to enjoy our time there. Even my Gluten intolerance was catered for. Just wish we did not have to dash off early next morning. - Very friendly.   The experience from entry to leaving was excellent, one of the best country hotels in the UK, staff friendly, service excellent, a place of peace and calm, even through the 90 mph gales. - The service was friendly but not overbearing, the room luxurious and the food excellent with a lovely view of the ocean and a golfcourse.

  Fantastic Value for money. The rooms were huge and so was the bed. All modern fittings with speakers in bathrooms. Breakfast was exellent with a wide choice and all the staff seemed to genuinly enjoy their jobs which rubbed off on the atmosphere.   I liked the whole experience of staying at the Piersland. We received a warm welcome and were shown to the most beautiful room which had a wonderful bathroom almost as big as the room. The welcome in the dining room was equally as good and the food and wine were excellent. We will certainly be going back and making sure our friends know about it. - I was at a wedding at a nearby hotel and did not have the opportunity to sample all of the Piersland's facilities. However I did find the staff and bar service first class. The room was the lodge/cottage to the left. My partner and I were very pleasantly surprised by the comfort and layout. Room service breakfast was more than sufficient.

Liked décor and ambience in bar and restaurant with sea views, the sort of place you would linger in. They put thought and effort in to what they do. - Views over Arran were spectactular! We had room with sea view which was very clean and comfortable. Hotel is in lovely situation fairly near Largs. We were a family party of 13 and each and every one of us had a lovely Dinner in the evening. A stroll along the beach in the afternoon, then a swim in the Spa - and Dinner in the Evening - just perfect.
