  Staff courteous, professional and helpful. Really lovely breakfast.Location of hotel brilliant - Lace market area very interesting andvery good shopping nearby. The Lace Market is one of my favouriteboutique hotels. - Great location in the centre (close to shops and restaurants) yet quiet! We had a super room, thanks for that!   I chose Elm Lodge Guest House for my family and best friends to come to stay for 3 nights for my wedding, and I stayed there myself for one night. I booked the whole of the 3 bedrooms. I loved everything - Andy had a very warm welcome for us, and added a very special touch to my parents and friends', and my own stay. He knew I was going to be stay... vad folk säger » ing there as a bride, and he especially ordered a massive mirror for the bathroom!! On the night before the wedding he gave us a bottle of champagne, - Our studio apartment was so lovely we wanted to move in! Large rooms are in a lovely Victorian house. Breakfast around a large table in the dining room which was great, all the guests were in conversation as we were served a lovely breakfast. Large garden, nice area of city.Andy and his son were so friendly and welcoming. Stay here!

  Me and a friend booked this last minute to go to a concert in town. We actually ended up being upgraded so as you can imagine this made us very happy! The man who runs it all was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful apartment, right in town and close to both the train and bus station.
