  Staff were very friendly and accomodating - nothing was too much trouble. This was highlighted when I was telling the receptionist how we were married at the George 18yrs ago but never got to stay in the 'teardrop room'; after checking her register she told us that the room was free and that we would be most welcome to use it.   We had a lovely 1 Night stay at Little Gables whilst visiting the surrounding area. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The room was well presented, very clean and a good size. The little extra touches like sweets in the room, cake on arrival and complimentary shortbread were lovely. Breakfast was great with plenty to choose from. - Warm ... vad folk säger » welcome.   the location was excellent, a brief stroll from the Thames river. the bar, restaurant and room were excellent. although we spent most of our time in the room, when coming up for air, loved it all, would highly recommend. The only dubious feature was the room name - the sleazy salmon. - Excellent food in restaurant
