  The location of the hotel was really nice. It's a few minutes walk from Paddington station and very easy to find it. I guess no one gets lost on arrival. Also, it was easy to get to Baker Street on foot. Not only that, but there are so many nice pubs and eateries near the hotel and you can enjoy a lot of delicious food and good beer - I only stayed one night before going to Heathrow airport. The room I received was basic but very clean with a nice attempt at modernization; these hotel buildings in this area are all around 100 years old or more, most being Listed (historical) making modernization difficult or impossible. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and professional. The hotel is located three blocks from Paddington Station in London, which was excellent for me.

  I found the staff very friendly and helpful on reception. Helped with luggage up stairs and very helpful with directions etc. Staff in breakfast room also very friendly and would have made you anything. Breakfast lovely. Though this is a small hotel, it is clean and located in a very quiet and safe environment. Breakfast is fairly okay. So far, we did not have any problems regarding theft or any loss of personal properties while staying at the hotel. I think the guests themselves should be responsible to take care of their valuables and not to leave their money or other important things when they go out of the wherever hotel they are staying. It was very cheap for London, rooms only across the road were going for the same price and you got a lot less for your money.   It was really close to the bus and tube station, cca 2min walk, about 5-10min to center of town by tube. There are a lot of shops, restaurants and pubs just across the street from it. Rooms are neat, staff is OK, even the people staying there were friendly and polite. Really cheap for being this close to the centar and Hyde Park.
