  The Homestay Bristol is like a second home. From the moment I walked in, Michael, the owner, asked me about my trip and helped me to settle in. This is probably the best hostel I have stayed in. Everyone feels at home there, so we all bonded quickly and went out together.   Clifton House Hotel is a beautiful renovated Georgian building with stylish rooms and spotless modern ensuite facilities. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious, - full English cooked freshly to order and a wide range of items from the buffet. The location is excellent, with the harbour-side, major attractions and shopping all within comfortable walking distance. Th - Although the room was small for 2 friends sharing i think it would have been perfectly sized for a weekend break for a couple. The breakfast was lovely, with lots of choices available, although a longer time period for breakfast would have been better. The rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated, and the location was great for both a day at the shops and a night on the town! I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

  This hotel is a real find and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bristol. The location is excellent and the hotel has a real buzz. We particularly enjoy the bar area which is great for morning coffee, afternoon tea or a drink before dinner. Food is always a highlight of our stay. - This is oneof my 2 favorite hotels in the uk.   I booked this hotel for my 73 year old mum. Initially she was on the 6th floor (there is no lift). As soon as she mentioned it they moved her to the first floor. She thought the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. She thought the hotel was spotlessly clean with lovely rooms and decor. Local to good food establishments. A seperate but integral ultra modern bar downstairs, with also extremely friendly staff , I always enjoy staying here.
