My room was big,clean,quiet and very comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and made my stay enjoyable. Staff treated everyone the same whether you were wearing expensive jewellery or just casual. That means alot. - The service was fantastic

We were greeted immediately upon on our arrival from a very helpful, efficient member of the reception team. As we had arrived early our room wasn’t quite ready, but the receptionist immediately got onto the housekeeping to make it a priority. We were given the delicious warm cookie to eat while we checked in. We left our luggage and went to do some sightseeing. rate we got. The staff were helpful & took time to help explain
there was engineering works on the district line & to use the

The staff at the front desk were all cheerful, booked our taxis flawlessly, and provided an electrical adapter for only a deposit. The room was clean and the towels large and plush. The A/C worked fine and kept us quite cool. Bermondsey Square, just one block south, has a lovely courtyard with two nice restaurants (we tried and enjoyed both), a cinema/bar, and a small grocery (which we also found handy on several occasions during our 6 night stay). Staff were good and attentive, good value if you are staying for a weekend as the City is shut, absolutely nothing open within a square mile! so be prepared to get a taxi into the lively parts of London, we paid a tenner each way into Covent Garden so based on the weekend saving it was worth it, have stayed in better 5* hotels than this but ok.

We had a family room for 4 and were kind of packed into the room but it worked fine - after all, we were out seeing London except when we were sleeping! Our favorite thing was the breakfasts served in the dining room each morning and the fact that they were free for our two teenagers (free for 16 and under).
