Loved the fact that we were a two minute walk from the shops and near restaurants for the evening. Excellent value for money and a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Much nicer than your run of the mill holiday inn or travel lodge where they are all the same! Also liked that you had a bar connected so we could have a drink late evening.

Room was slightly on the small side but was bright, nicely decorated & nipping clean, the bed was very comfy, shower was great & my wife loved the complimentary biscuits. Girl on reception was really friendly & efficient. Did not dine there but has a few drinks in the fat badger bar which we enjoyed. The price of the room was excellent @ £59 for a double. Would deffo stay again

The staff were very helpful the room was clean and well appointed it was in need of some decoration but overall that wasn;t a problem. the location was great only a 5 minute walk to the train station and to the shopping centre. Contrary to other reviews I found the reception staff very helpful, especially Natalie. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Parking was no problem - car park at the front of the hotel and plenty spaces at the back. I would certainly stay there a
