  The whole experience was an absolute pleasure and I will be back. The service,and attention from the staff was professional, friendly and personal. Especially the receptionist when checking in Friday evening. The receptionist was brilliant- I do not have her name but I would like give a special thank you. The stay was short but couldn't have kased for a better one. - Staff were good and attentive, good value if you are staying for a weekend as the City is shut, absolutely nothing open within a square mile! so be prepared to get a taxi into the lively parts of London, we paid a tenner each way into Covent Garden so based on the weekend saving it was worth it, have stayed in better 5* hotels than this but ok.

  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week. There are a number of nearby pubs, and a Marks & Spencer across the street if you require groceries. We walked through the revolving doors and were met by a lovely lady who greeted us by name and showed us the hotel and finally to our room. Great location for business in London; easy for tube to anywhere (from Barbican, five minutes walk away).   We had a lovely room overlooking Big Ben and Parliament. The view was so wonderful, the nights were spectacular watching the boats and the river lights. The weather was warm and balmy and the walks along the river embankment were spectacular. The hotel is in a perfect location, the staff superb and the service top notch. It was well maintained and very clean.The beds were wonderfully comfortable with big feather pillows.The room had plenty of plugs,fluffy white towel dressing gowns,ironing board etc. everything we needed without having to ask.
