  Overall the accommodation facilities and cleanliness are good and value for money. The breakfast choices are wide even for muslim traveler. - Tina was great to deal with. Very accommodating. The location and access to public transport was perfect for us. The place was clean.

  To start off our 3 days we were arriving after the check in time, but the owner stayed up to let us in and told us the best way to get into town to get something to eat. Each day we got a great offering at breakfast and our room made up. We also had to check out early on the last day, so would be missing breakfast, and upon coming home late that n... vad folk säger » ight found we had been left a 'breakfast to go' in our room. We were really made to feel at home the whole stay. - This is a family guesthouse, and that explains why you feel so much at home there. The floor cover, design and dining room all make you feel a special guest. Breakfasts icluded, wifi is free. And fast. Plus a relatively close distance from the center - that's the best investment for a young couple, friends or a solo traveller who want to enjoy Edinburgh in any time of year.

  The staff was excellent especially Claudia-who was exceedingly helpful in finding a tour for us to the Highlands and Loch Ness last minute. The tour left very early and she arranged for an early breakfast even though they weren't open for breakfast yet. Breakfast was a also delightful-they had continental, and traditional - Friendly staff & room (No,10) was clean, bright & comfortable with nice touches to enhance its ambience (sweets, tea/coffee & cushions on the bed). Room overlooked a shrubbery & had benefit of afternoon sun.Bathroom was excellent. Good choice at breakfast. Good location within walking distance from shopping area & restaurants. Would use again & would recommend

  Great location, great value and a very friendly welcome on arrival. As everyone says, be prepared for the stairs - it's the norm in Edinburgh. I was amazed to receive a comp - The room was spacious and well furnished. We had a street facing room but the noise wasn't bad at all. You are given keys to the front door and your room on arrival so you aren't restricted by times. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay (and remained so even though we had a blip).
