  The efficiency and friendliness of the staff, especially in the dining room. With a Premier Inn you know just what to expect, comfortable beds, cleanliness and welcome, at a reasonable price. The three children like the flexibility of the children's meal options and the breakfasts are very good. We could walk to the Royal Mile inside ten minutes, ... vad folk säger » and the railway station in 25 mins (with bags), although we did use a taxi on arrival, for ease and comfort, and this cost just less than £6.00. The c - the hotel is basic but new....we had the disable room, and the bed was fantastic!l chose this hotel because of no frills but new and fresh.....great for visiting the city on foot, and lots of pub/ restaurant open till late, when we came back at evenings after Sightseeing....the breakfast was good for £8.50, with lots of choices.

  Central hotel, very comtemporary and the room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant staff were particularly professional and helpful. The bar food was good also. The breakfast is excellent, a good variety of cereals, hot food, fruit, yogurt and a seemingly endless supply of tea and toast! We were given great instructions on getting to the main part of the city and the room was comfortable and spacious with a spotless ensuite which was small but perfectly adequate for our needs. Having previously stayed in hostels when I have visited Edinburgh, this made a welcome change and I'm sure we will stay

  We were extremely surprised by the quality of the hotel considering we paid 119 for a double room. Staff were of 5* quality, attached bar is fantastic with good beer, good food and live sport on big screens. Bedrooms are great. Would not hesitate to return. Bedroom was more than ample size with large flat screen television and bathroom was very well presented and equipped. Was a bit worried that room was over the bar area bed room was actually very quiet and the hotel itself was in a nice quiet area. Excellent hot breakfast with haggis !

  STAFF WERE SO HELPFULL ADVISING WHERE TO GO WITH CHILDREN AGED 6 AND 13 THEY REALLY ENJOYED DYNAMIC EARTH ALSO ABLE TO GET IN EARLY AS STAFF HAD JUST FINISHED CLEANING, BUT HAD BEEN ADVISED WE COULD LEAVE BAGS IF ARRIVING EARLY THIS WAS VERY HELPFULL BECAUSE WE TRAVELLED BY TRAIN.   The staff went out of their way to be helpful when we had a problem with my baby grandson who was ill whilst we were staying at the apartment. There was always staff available even on a Sunday which was unexpected.   The apartment is beautifully furnished and set in a great location opposite the meadow, only a 10 min walk from the castle and the Royal Mile and everything else you would want to visit. Sainsburys is very close by and there is also a lovely place to have breakfast (Peters Yard) right next to the apartment. The communication and info offered by Flor prior to the stay was also great. - The apartment was lovely - felt right at home, however the parking was very expensive but we manage to find cheap parking away from the apartment not too far away, about 10 minutes walk. Flor was nice and text as soon as we arrived to ask how everything was going.
