  Location was excellent and easily accessible. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and we had many nights of sound sleep. On our return trip from Paris, we encountered some delay in getting our room and were surprisingly compensated with free breakfast :) On the whole it was a good experience for the family.   Good value for money, comfortable rooms with cosy beds. Close to Earls Court tube station. Choice of bars & restaurants close by with some supermarkets. Breakfast was ok, But for coffee lovers there is a Costa Coffee machine! There was a group of us, we hadn't pre booked so they weren't expecting us.   We have to echo everything that 'Adrian from Shanghai' has said about this excellent hotel. From the moment we entered the foyer to book in at the desk we were greeted by friendly helpful staff. Our room was spotless and surprisingly quiet for central London, and the air conditioning on such a hot day was very welcome.   The breakfast buffe - We were very happy with our three night stay at Lancaster Gate Hotel and highly recommend it. The location is superb on a quiet street only a block from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. We had learned that there is variation in room sizes, but we were very happy with our spacious room and bath. People have commented on th... vad folk säger » e expensive breakfast, but we were pleased to learn that the hotel offers three choices in the morning: a continental, a "light", and the full English breakfast. We enjoye - Hotel under renovations and road closed but it was never less good. An explanation of air conditioning would have been helpful. We saw 28 heat and thought it was ON so we were cold for a day. First time in 40 years of ANY hotel we we charged to store our luggage for a few hours--and also charged £10 an hours overstay when we requested late stay provided hotel not full. Our plane took off 6pm. Not a way to keep customers. On principle I would prefer to pay £25 more at the Radisson 4 stars nearby
