  This place is a gem - we stayed for two nights for a much-needed break and a spot of Christmas shopping. The location is ideal and incredibly quiet considering where it is. The hotel is in a beautiful building and our gallery suite was superb. The service was excellent and understated. The staff was kind and efficient. Complimentary wi-fi was a nice facility that you cannot find free in many hotels of this standard in London. Rooms were fairly large enough to stay and relax.

  The apartment that I got is very nice. It was the apartment 1, on 55 Draycott Place, ground floor.There is a big siitting room, a bathroon, and another toilette. The bedroom is perfect.   trevlig personal - stones throw from the palace - truly in the heart of london. the rooms, the staff, the dining - everything was absolutely perfect. they have a sister hotel that is literally down the street, it is more expensive and a perhaps a little more grand - but everything is 'modernized' with a blackandwhite motif ... and that hotel uses ... vad folk säger » the restaurants at the rubens for their special packages. - From the moment we arrived at the Hotel to the minute that we left, we were treated like the most important people in the establishment. All the staff were polite, helpful and very friendly. I would definitely stay at the Rubens again, our room was recently refurbished and was in excellent condition. The room service was impressive and the food the best I've ever tasted in a hotel.

  Having decided to make a quick get-away down to London, we found Durley House, and what a find! Having stayed in traditional hotels in London where space is at such a premium, this made for a very refreshing change. The staff were excellent throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble.   The staff made sure we had a nice stay. Rooms were comfortable. It is close to knightsbridge - great if you want to shop from harrods and other shops such as prada and zara - The staff was the kindest I've ever experienced and very helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect and the hotel itself was very nice and clean.
