  A great location, only 3 mins wall to Tower Hill tube and 6 mins to tower of London and London Bridafe and the southbank. We upgraded to executive room for £40 per night which was good value as it then gave us breakfast and complimentry drinks and food in a privare room between 5pm and 6pm on both nights. We went to the Sky lounge on both nights and was great to sit outside for beers and cocktai - We were greeted immediately upon on our arrival from a very helpful, efficient member of the reception team. As we had arrived early our room wasn’t quite ready, but the receptionist immediately got onto the housekeeping to make it a priority. We were given the delicious warm cookie to eat while we checked in. We left our luggage and went to do some sightseeing.   My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week. There are a number of nearby pubs, and a Marks & Spencer across the street if you require groceries.   Very convenient location for South Bank venues. Convenient to access from Kent where we live. Good to have a car park connected with the hotel.   We were very impressed with the facilities. Quite often although a hotel claims to have a gym and pool they rarely offer the sort of quality found at this Novotel. The location was great - Southwark tube is 2 minutes away, St Paul's cathedral is a 15 minute walk and although the location is pretty central, we did not find the area too busy at all.... vad folk säger » There were some nice places to eat near by - cooked breakfast for under a £5 in London! and a great food stall just up the road that serves homemade, - Especially friendly and helpful staff in total, but these 3 persons need an award: the very friendly mechanic who repaired the sink stop in a couple of minutes, the manager of the restaurant on 23.04./24.04.name: Iliantor ? the manager at the reception : Salem the location is fantastic, Globe,Tates, OXO,Thames cruises, tube, all in very short walking distance, was perfect for us! quiet room, nice design very delicious English breakfast in total: we will come again and also recommend this hotel
