  The owners were so very welcoming, and every detail was met. Beautiful location, although the entry is tricky as you have to double-back from the road through two impressive pillars - but with better light it could be found more easily. Fantastic views across Tamar. - the setting of the accommodation was off road and in a beautiful place. We were not surrounded with other tourist. Ideal for peaceful break.

  We were here for a wedding at the Horn of Plenty, and was the perfect location (a very cheap taxi ride away) as well as being great value for money. There was live music the night we arrived which added to its charm. Breakfast was good and made to order so we could have pretty much what we fancied (within reason). Even the local clientele of the establishment were extremely friendly. Excellent breakfasts and the rooms above the pub were maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness.

  The Staff worked really hard to ensure we had a good stay. It was a birthday celebration for one of the party and the hotel went that extra mile to please. Food was very good with the exception of the breakfast on the Friday morning - The location of the hotel in the park with views into the countryside is fabulous.   Nestled on the edge of Dartmoor this is a real country pub with presently 2 very large en-suite rooms. Very clean, free wifi, power shower/bath in a very large bathroom. Bedroom has LCD TV with FreeSat, very comfortable large king size bed. My bedroom also had its own upstairs patio area which led from the bedroom. Food is home made, and not a frozen chip in sight, home real chips if you chose t - We had a really good sized room with with 4 opening windows thus plenty of light and ventilation a two seater leather settee and a double kingsize bed which was very comfortable. Good standard of carpet and room was clean throughout. This is pub type accommadation to a very high standard but it seems there are only 2 rooms. Food was also very good but menu was small. The bar closed at 10pm
