  Spacious and comfortable- I think staff struggle when it is busy to be available but it does have a rather welcoming informality about the place. Don't worry about no breakfast- lots of cafe's nearby- I HIGHLY recommend "the Square" cafe round the corner- superb at very reasonable prices and lovely staff! Comfortable, large room facing out onto the street. staff very helpful and friendly. Bar was fine and we used that. No meals offered in hotel but there are options around.

  I am from Edinburgh so am familier with the area and new that it was on the outer limits of the city centre. But I walked from there into town on Sunday morning pulling a suitcase and it wasn't far atall. Even with sore feet from the night before! The staff were friendly and very helpful. The wiifii access is quite fast and the access code is in a drawer. Wasn't told - This is a charming small hotel, easy walking distance to City Centre. It has a comfortable little bar,reasonably priced, didn't sample the bar food but if the breakfast is anything to go by I'm sure it'll be excellent, as was the breakfast -freshly cooked to order, as much tea/coffee and toast as you want. The room was spotless, freshly decorated and beds comfortable,the bathroom was spotless too - good shower.Parking for a few cars on site. I will definitely use this hotel again.
