  I'm on gluten free diet - had no problems whatsoever. The chef even amended the Valentine's Day menu in the Grill Room. All the staff were exceptionally helpful. The rooftop hyropool was wonderful. - The upgrade to our room was very comfortable and appreciated. The staff were all very helpfull and friendly.

  It is a suite hotel less than a ten minute walk from the main Railway Station and ten seconds off the Royal Mile. Our suite was actually a fully equipped apartment with dishwasher, microwave kitchen sink refrigerator and plenty of kitchen utensils.   Fantastic apartment in a great location, close to the main bars and shops etc. Someone came and met us at the apartment to show us around, how to use the heating, oven etc. The apartment had 3 bedrooms upstairs with 8 single beds then down a spiral staircase to the huge living space, kitchen and patio doors to an outside decking area.   If you go to Edinburgh I really recomend you to stay on Royal Overseas League Hotel. The staff service is very kind and good facilities.. If you need to have an early breakfast there are not problem, you're going to have it on your room with all that you want to eat. I recommend the Scottish breakfast that is all included on the prize. There is a room called "Castle suite" with a marvelous sight of Edinburgh's C - -Friendly staff. -Great location- only a short walk to key places (waverley, castle, etc). -Room nicely furnished. -Extremely comfortable bed, the best nights sleep that I've had in a long time. -Nice atmosphere. -The cost to stay was the lowest that I could find in the area on that night (just £57), yet you wouldn't have thought it for how nice the place was. Because of this, I would definitely stay again and will recommend to others.

  We had a fabulous one night stay at The Chester Residence. Staff were very helpful and the suite was fantastic. All rooms were very spacious (we had the 1st floor suite) and the location was only about 5 minutes walk from Haymarket and Princes Street. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. Flat screen tv with multiple satellite channels. Kitchen well stocked daily with breakfast/snack items. Reception/housekeeping more than helpful and friendly.   The apartment is spacious, located within 1.5 km of the castle (about a 15 min walk uphill). It is on a quiet street on the 4th floor (5th flr for Americans) with a view of the castle from the bedroom windows. The bedrooms get morning sun and the living area/kitchen gets afternoon sun. The "Roxburgh's Court Close" location was not as difficult to find and ac - The apartment space was luxurious, comfortable, very well thought out and utilised - with modern open-plan living in mind, balcony with fold back door to seamlessly bring the outside space in, serviced to a high standard daily; friendly and very helpful staff. Very central location at the 'Lawnmarket' on the 'Royal Mile' in the Old Town, in the shadow of the castle itself - great for sight- seeing most within a very short walking distance and only a short bus ride to others.
