  Stayed in a spacious, relaxing and very comfortable suite. We loved the decor and furnishings too. Once we had settled in, a fresh flower arrangement was delivered to our room. That was a nice touch. Staff were very helpful and friendly, Wine was reasonably priced. There were ample dishes to choose from the menu. Daily specials were offered too. A lot of thought, time and care has gone into making this a - We liked everything about it, the hotel was ideal for us, very comfortable and spacious rooms. the food was extremely good and a very varied menu. the staff were very professional and attentive to our needs, even the locals that popped in we got to know. We spent three nights at woodlands and would have loved to have stayed longer.

  Everything! Bruce the manager really went the extra mile for me! The staff was extremely accommodating. From the moment we arrived till long after we left! I was carried away by the fabulous furniture and used all their drawers, and ended up leaving behind my make up kit in one of their drawers! Bruce skipped his lunch break the next day to post ... vad folk säger » me my belongings as I needed it before I flew out of the country! I am ever so appreciative of everything they did! Love Rivendell! - Location - close to town and all amenities but far enough from town centre for quiet break. Room décor old fashioned including 4 poster bed to suit styled accommodation - modern up to date equipment, Fab breakfast and service in well lit cosy room. Plentiful parking spaces and children's play area out back (if you have little ones with you). Great for price - booked on special rate 2 days before trip
