  Beautiful house, georgian in style and fitted and decorated sensitively throughout. Gorgeous drawing room with fire to relax by and consrvatory with honesty bar to meet most people's needs. Interesting literature scattered throughout for guests to enjoy. Very friendly host. Will definitely visit again. - Clean and comfortable. Pleasant decor and furnishing. Helpful friendly and courteous proprietor. I stay in a lot of hotels and you learn that the first thing to do is check everything works, if there is to be the slightest chance of anything being fixed before you leave. So when a light bulb blew I was delightfully surprised to find it instantly replaced without my even reporting it.

  The service was the best I've experienced anywhere. Nothing was too much trouble and I've stayed in many 5* hotels especially in London. This was as good if not better. The hotel was beautiful too.
