  This hotel was very comfortable (room was a little bit dated though) and we liked being able to use the swimming pool and sauna. The location is great, as it feels like your in the countryside but your only 15 minutes drive from the centre of Cambridge.   This was my third stay at the Varsity and I can't wait to go back. The location is perfect, it's right beside the river, very close to the main shopping area and the beautiful buildings of the University. The staff are very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. Breakfast is amazing. There is a huge selection of dishes to choose from whether y... vad folk säger » ou opt for Full English or Continental. The rooms are very comfortable clean and well equipped. The bathrooms are amazing, some with walk-in showers a - Great location in the heart of Cambridge. Comfortable rooms with individual character that you don't find in chain hotels. Above all, I was impressed by the staff - attentive to the needs of customers and I experienced three clear examples of staff members going the extra mile to help the customer get what he required .

  Within easy walking distance from King's College (20 minutes). Even though on busy road was not aware of loud traffrick passing by. Friendly Cypriot family-run old house with ongoing improvements. All basic requirements available for short visits to Cambridge. Clean bedroom/bathroom and very pleasant dining area for good varied breakfast (plus the... vad folk säger » y make a good pot of tea!) - The room I ended up with is fabulous - big, lots of storage, huge flatscreen tv, and a terrace outside just for the couple of rooms which open onto it. This is in the new wing which has been refurbished to a very high standard. The owners are fantastic and can't do enough to make your stay as comfortable as they can.
