  Everything was fine and what you want/expect for a night away. It was well situated for the local amenities and a stones throw from the picturesque walks along the river. The staff were all polite and helpful and I also like how the bar has been refurbished. As it was a nice warm evening we could enjoy having a drink in the garden. Being able to u... vad folk säger » se the carpark for the whole of my stay was also very useful. - We liked the olde worlde feel to the hotel but without the feeling of dilapidation that you often find in older hotel buildings. We had comfortable brass and iron beds (unusual for a hotel) which I really enjoyed. The food was good, staff friendly and helpful and the location on the edge of Blandford was excellent.

  We had a superb stay, the room was just right and dog friendly, the food was excellent both in the evening and at breakfast, the hosts and staff were very friendly and even allowed our very large dog in the bar for a nightcap, we will definitely be booking another stay here and recommending to our friends - Room set slightly away from the pub so ... vad folk säger » no noise disturbance. Overlooked an attractive garden which led conveniently to the restaurant. Extremely attractive and tasteful. Room was warm, clean, comfortable and lacked for nothing.
