  Rooms were amazing. Lots ov space and light. Can please urself when you come in and out of the hotel from nights out. 2mins on underground train to get over the river. This was ace as we were going to echo areana. - the room was quirky and fabulous.   The location is ideal for the Birkenhead-Belfast ferry ( 5 mins). Also the Mersey tunnel. It is also directly opposite the train station into Liverpool. The hotel itself is an old building but i found it very clean with very helpful staff from reception to dining room. The food was very good,both evening dinner and a hearty breakfast. There is an... vad folk säger » elevator to all floors which is a great help as i use a cane. In summery a very good value for money. - EXcellent location, it is opposite Birkenhead Central station; I left a laptop charger in our room and the staff were very helpful when I wanted to recover it. Very convenient for the Mersey ferry and wartime German U-boat museum.
