  The room was comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and a big bathroom. A great state of the art gym with all the machines and weights you would hope for- these seemed almost brand new! This was the perfect location for visiting Bath as it took us less than a 2 minute walk to be in the centre! Ask for a river side view - Doing the paperwork early so that there were no delays when we checked in later. The offer of a map of the city.The positive reponses from all staff to requests: could we have an extra pillow to explanations of how the car park token needed to be validated as we were planning to actually leave the car park( which is underneath the hotel).   Very quiet. Slept well. I stayed before in Bath city centre hotels and the noise from the street made it hard to sleep full nights. But it was great at the university of Bath. It is a bit out of the city, but then again, it is quiet. Also has great facilities on-site: supermarket, cashpoints, post office desks, bars, etc. - Room was larger than e... vad folk säger » xpected - despite having booked a single I got a small double bed which was lovely. Breakfast was also good and while the uni is out of town the bus runs every ten or twenty minutes from around 7.30 to midnight so getting around wasn't a problem. For the price it's a bargain.

  Myself and my other half spent a beautiful, romantic weekend in Bath staying at The Prince of Wales. The stay was extremely pleasant - Clarissa and Graham were wonderful, kind hosts and we had a fantastic vegetarian English breakfast before heading into the city centre for some sightseeing. It is slightly out of the city centre which makes it perf... vad folk säger » ect for a romantic getaway in the country side, however transport to the city centre is very easy (bus stop is directly outside the venue). The accomm - Really nice greeting, very friendly and flexible to our needs, we were in room 1 which was lovely and light. It is a pub so isn't the kind of thing you'd expect at a hotel, but the friendliness and general atmosphere was much better than cold hotel. Our friends stayed at travelodge and paid more and were very disappointed. Breakfast was great, and I'd definitely stay again if back in that part of the world.5

  Ett mysigt typiskt engelskt hotell vilket var precis vad vi ville ha. För övrigt en utmärkt engelsk frukostbuffé. - The bathroom was huge, it was the size of a bedroom and had a large window, seperate shower and tub and lots of space, the bed was very clean and comfortable and lots of room in the bedroom as well. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal with enjoyable. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel has a quiet relaxing feel, althought just a short stroll to the middle of Bath.
