  Varmt välkomnande. Bra service. God mat och ett fantastiskt rum - The hotel was lovely. The setting was beautiful, the rooms were spacious, attractive and very clean. The whole setting had a wonderful atmosphere. The food and drinks were excellent, and the staff could not have done more to make us comfortable. The taste of the room, the nature and the views which can be seen from the hotel were excellent. Just staying in the hotel was good enough to enjoy the day. The staffs were very friendly.

  Friendly helpful staff. Centre of Bath location. Ease of entry to hotel from very convenient car park. - The hotel was central for everything and in walking distance for shopping, eating, theatre etc..

  The room was comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and a big bathroom. A great state of the art gym with all the machines and weights you would hope for- these seemed almost brand new! The bar was comfortable and had a relaxed and happy feel, whether during the day or the evening. The restaurant was first class, with delicious food and exc... vad folk säger » ellent service. This was the perfect location for visiting Bath as it took us less than a 2 minute walk to be in the centre! Ask for a river side view - Doing the paperwork early so that there were no delays when we checked in later. The offer of a map of the city.The positive reponses from all staff to requests: could we have an extra pillow to explanations of how the car park token needed to be validated as we were planning to actually leave the car park( which is underneath the hotel).   Lovely large room with huge bathroom, the freestanding bath was a really nice feature, the only problem being inadequate lighting in the bedroom area - lovely lamps etc but I couldn't see what I was getting out of my case properly!!. Yes, the stairs are a bit of a nightmare (certainly get you puffing), but they wouldn't stop me staying here again... vad folk säger » . Location is great and a good selection to choose from at breakfast - service was a bit haphazard but the food was really nice. We stayed for 2 night - very impressed with johnathon the manager he no's his trade, the breakfast waitress very proffessional and helpful and breakfast very nice and plenty to start you off for the day, the room very nice and comfortable. thankyou very much to the manager johnathon,sally and staff. i would definatly recomend youre hotel to friends and family

  Friendly welcome. welcoming entrance. Clean comfortable rooms nicely decorated. Thoughtfulness for guests little touches such as fresh milk available to go with tea trays. crisps / chocolate available to purchase. Fans in rooms (we visited in a heatwave) and every effort was made to cool rooms down. Very friendly and helpful owners/staff. - W... vad folk säger » onderful host. Delicious breakfast. Free Wifi. A short walk to town, although walking up the hill (back from Bath) can be challenging if you have poor fitness. A cab from town only cost £6, which is a cheap alternative to walking up the hill. Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay at the Devonshire House again.
