  An evocative hotel, on a slightly elevated plateaux, provides a stunning initial impression which is enhanced at every turn. Our room was wonderfully comfortable, relaxing and intimate with a wonderful view over the landscape around. The full breakfast was superb and the 5 course dinner was simply outstanding. Add into the mix well-trained and attentive friendly staff, Area of OUtstanding Natural Beauty, and the result is a wonderful experience from start to finish. We'll be back soon :)

  Informal, you become one of the family (or servant to the cats!) as soon as you step through the door :-) Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, with a choice of pretty much everything, lovely, interesting grounds and easy walking distance to the village for evening meal & drinks. Thanks to Eileen our fabulously excentric hostess, we will def... vad folk säger » iantly book back in if we are returning to the area - A brilliant experience for cat lovers. Eileen treated us as part of the family. Cosy bedrooms with all the facilities you could ever need. The cooked breakfast was enormous and very tasty. Super relaxed atmosphere. Comfy lounge and brilliant piano room. Highly recommended.
