This is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms were very very comfortable and warm(especially in the spring weather we have at the moment!) the beds were comfy, the bathroom spacious, the room has everytthing you have in your own bedroom.....very much home from home feeling.
The staff were more than helpfull, even at 9pm they helped me!

The room is not large, but the smart use of the space makes it quite
comfotable. I have been to larger rooms that look much smaller than the
one I got. The family that runs the place is very friendly and helpful.
Everything is clean, good large windows and much light, all items modern
and in perfect maintenance. The breakfast is ok. The good value for the
money is the most important point. I would stay there again.

The location is very picturesque and only a short drive from the airport and all the Manchester attractions. The accomodation itself has been maintained to a very good standard without losing it's natural feel.

I only stayed for one night so only got to sample the breakfast which was lovely, you will not go hungary!! Tea and coffee -
The room is tatsefully decorated and impeccibly clean. The bathroom is spacious and again tasteful design. The bed is so comfortable. We had out own sitting room and breakfast room all beautifully furnished to a very high spec. The farm environment is wonderful. The hosts are welcoming an dcouldn't do more for us. Sharon dropped us off and picked us up from the airport which I think was well above the call of duty when we had a 4am drive to the airport. i would highly recommend Birtles F

Excellent value, have stayed in a wide range of hotels and for modernity and cleanliness this hotel ranks amongst the best. Generous tea, coffee, etc in the room, bright white towels and easy to follow instructions for the shower. Good value breakfast - we paid £5 each. For the amount we paid for the room it surpassed expectations. Friendly staff

The friendliness of the staff comfortable bed superb breakfast close proximity of shops and bus stops right out side the door and across the road also. Knowing it was on a busy road I wore earplugs at night so was not bothered by traffic noise. I will go back to Henry's whenever I go to Manchester. Regular buses into Manchester etc

We liked everything about the Verdene. From the helpful responses to my emails before we travelled, the friendly welcome on arrival, and the tasty veggie breakfasts that filled us up until lunch time, to the comfy beds, quiet room and sparkling new en suite. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The hotel itself was very sweet. It's ahrd to find a room that can fit upto 4 people and for this price it was worth it. It is in the process of being done up, but I almost quick like the sweet dated decor as it adds character. It is very clean and comfortable.
It is only a 10 minute bus ride from the city centre too

The owners were friendly and welcoming. The cooked breakfast was very good and there was plenty choice of cereals, fruit and juice. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was well heated. The car park was easily accessible around the rear of the hotel. -
